Remote Healthcare Scrum Master/Project Manager

Insight Global is seeking a dual Project Manager/Scrum Master to lead large-scale platform modernization and transformational programs in a healthcare/insurance context. This fully remote, six-month contract role (with potential conversion) oversees cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.

• Serve in a dual capacity: approximately 60% Scrum Master duties and 40% project management responsibilities.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily standups and partner closely with the Product Owner.
• Document and manage work using tools such as Jira and IBM RTC/RRC, including storyboards and requirements artifacts.
• Manage end-to-end project execution across multiple workflows, including budget management.
• Create and deliver status reports, including risks, issues, and progress updates, to senior leadership.
• Document processes and reporting through Clarity reports.
• Develop executive-level presentations (PowerPoint) for L1, L2, and L3 leadership audiences.
• Facilitate technical and business discussions across stakeholders and teams.

• Experience in healthcare or insurance with claims knowledge and understanding of provider/member/claim flow.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Ability to function effectively as both Scrum Master and Project Manager.
• Experience managing budgets, including projects up to approximately $4M annual spend (resource hours/costs, SOW, infrastructure, and cloud expenses).
• Experience managing 2–3 teams concurrently.
• Proficiency with PM/SM tools such as Jira, Clarity (budget management; flexibility noted), IBM RRC (Rational Requirement Composer)/RTC, QuickBase, and SharePoint.
• Strong knowledge of Agile and hybrid methodologies (including Kanban).
• Strong skills in developing project plans, roadmaps, and executive presentations (PowerPoint).
• Experience providing executive status updates including risks and issues to senior leadership.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
