Crossing Hurdles is hiring an hourly contract English Translator/Transcriptionist to transcribe and analyze video and audio content remotely. The role focuses on producing accurate transcripts with timestamping and performing advanced language work such as translation, adaptation, and semantic analysis to maintain high linguistic quality.

• Transcribe video and audio content with high accuracy and proper timestamping.
• Analyze and describe tone, emotion, and intent in spoken and written language.
• Evaluate grammar, syntax, and stylistic elements within source material.
• Define words, phrases, and concepts to ensure clarity and understanding.
• Perform advanced language tasks including translation, adaptation, and semantic analysis.

• Native-level English proficiency with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong experience in translation, linguistics, or related language fields.
