Summary

A SelectLeaders client focused on industrial real estate investments (value-add, opportunistic, and core-plus) is expanding into the Atlanta market. The Director of Acquisitions will lead Atlanta market growth by sourcing and executing industrial acquisitions and building a strong local network. This role supports the firm’s long-term expansion goals and reports progress through the acquisitions pipeline.

What you'll do

  • Leverage existing industrial relationships and build a strong broker, owner, and off-market network in Atlanta.
  • Develop deep knowledge of the Atlanta industrial market and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Source industrial real estate acquisition opportunities independently.
  • Underwrite cash flow models for potential acquisition opportunities.
  • Evaluate underwriting levers, deal structures, risks, and returns.
  • Move acquisitions through the pipeline with clear communication and urgency.
  • Maintain consistent sourcing of qualified industrial acquisition opportunities.
  • Drive a high conversion rate from sourcing to executed LOIs.
  • Deliver timely and accurate underwriting analysis.
  • Provide active, organized pipeline reporting to the Executive Director of Acquisitions and the Investment Committee.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of independently driving new acquisitions from sourcing through closing.
  • Established relationships in the Atlanta market.
  • Experience managing an active acquisitions pipeline and presenting opportunities clearly.
  • Experience underwriting industrial transactions, including cash flow modeling.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
