VC Analyst

Playcraft Ventures is a Los Angeles-based venture platform investing in early-stage companies across interactive entertainment, creator tools, and AI-powered consumer experiences with an Asia–US focus. The VC Analyst will source and evaluate investment opportunities, support diligence, and help manage portfolio reporting to drive high-quality investment decisions.

• Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities.
• Conduct market, competitive, and financial research to support investment decisions.
• Build financial models and perform valuation analysis.
• Identify and synthesize trends across target industries (interactive entertainment, creator tools, AI-driven consumer experiences).
• Prepare detailed investment memos, reports, and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders and relevant stakeholders.
• Support due diligence efforts in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Assist with portfolio management, tracking, and reporting.

• Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, market research, and valuation analysis.
• Understanding of venture capital processes, startup ecosystem trends, and investment strategies.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to create professional reports and memos.
• Experience with data analysis tools; proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or similar analytical software).
• Strong organizational and project management skills with high attention to detail.
• Passion for emerging technologies, especially interactive entertainment, creator tools, or AI-driven solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field.
• Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in venture capital, startups, technology, consulting, or investment banking is a plus.

• Competitive base salary of $80,000–$120,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus.
