Paralegal

Segal McCambridge, a national trial firm recognized for litigation excellence, is hiring experienced Paralegals to support its General Liability and Construction Defect teams. This hands-on role supports attorneys on complex litigation matters across the full case lifecycle in a collaborative environment. The position is designed to provide meaningful responsibility from day one with flexibility through a hybrid work model.

• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, mediations/arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and trial exhibits
• Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and document production using litigation support systems
• Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, and opposing counsel as directed
• Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and summaries
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with court rules and filing requirements

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience supporting general liability, construction defect, or complex civil litigation matters
• Strong organizational, proofreading, and document management skills
• Familiarity with California court procedures and e-filing systems
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach
