Summary
Dataforest is seeking a Business Analyst to join their team on challenging projects. The role involves working with a friendly, supportive team to translate business needs into technical requirements and manage the full analysis lifecycle.
What you'll do
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify their needs and clarify requirements
- Analyze, validate, groom and document requirements for projects
- Visualize business processes and prepare data models for software projects
- Advise stakeholders on common practices and possible product solutions
- Perform competitor and market analysis, assist in developing product ideas
- Communicate project vision and coordinate development with engineering teams
- Participate in presales and estimates
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in system, functional, or business analysis
- Advanced English proficiency or higher
- Practical experience with key business analysis techniques and requirement management tools
- Understanding of SDLC and agile development processes
- Knowledge of business process modeling
- Proficiency in identifying and translating business needs into clearly defined requirements
- Experience drafting functional, business, and system requirement specifications
- Experience working with stakeholders and requirements elicitation
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to decompose complex requirements into manageable tasks
- Understanding of web development concepts and technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Preferred: Experience with SQL and integration projects
