VITL
Head of Business Development
Summary
VITL is a Nashville-based healthtech company building simple e-prescribing infrastructure and an open pharmacy marketplace for cash-pay medical practices. The Head of Business Development owns the external growth engine by sourcing, structuring, and closing strategic partnerships that expand reach, improve unit economics, and accelerate bookings.
What you'll do
Define partnership strategy and prioritization to identify where external leverage matters.
Source and develop senior-level relationships with EMR/EHR platforms and integration partners, affiliate and referral channels, and strategic ecosystem partners.
Lead deal structuring and negotiation end-to-end, including revenue models, referral/affiliate economics, integration and exclusivity terms, and risk allocation/incentives.
Drive execution from concept to signed agreement, avoiding low-impact “partnership theater.”
Align internally with Product, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations to ensure partnerships are technically feasible, commercially sound, and operationally clean.
Build a repeatable, scalable business development motion with clear economics and measurable ROI.
