Summary
Experian, a global FTSE 100 data and technology company, is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join their North America M&A team. The role involves end-to-end merger and acquisition execution, financial analysis, and strategic evaluation of inorganic growth opportunities.
What you'll do
Perform financial and strategic analyses of market opportunities and target companies; develop complex valuation models including DCF, trading comparables, and transaction comparables; partner across Business Units to develop pro-forma forecasts; evaluate deal structuring options; prepare internal investment papers; manage M&A process and due diligence with cross-functional teams; conduct industry and company research; monitor M&A activity; maintain comparables database and regional pipeline; develop networks with investment banking contacts and potential acquisition targets.
Requirements
2+ years of analyst experience in Investment Banking; experience with M&A transactions of various sizes and complexities in North America; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or related field; finance and accounting background; financial modeling and analytics experience; ability to communicate perspectives across partners; experience working with executive management and clients; willingness to travel up to 5%.
