Buying Coordinator

Summary

Reformation is a mission-driven sustainable fashion brand with global retail presence and a sustainable factory in Los Angeles. The Buying Coordinator supports the Buying team across Retail and Wholesale to ensure accurate purchasing, smooth cross-functional execution, and data-driven assortment and sales support.

What you'll do

  • Generate accurate and timely purchase orders and track/maintain them through the full process across Retail and Wholesale.

  • Manage calendar deadlines and coordinate needs across cross-functional teams.

  • Update buying documentation and ensure all data is accurate and current.

  • Support assortment planning and management for the Apparel business.

  • Communicate with production, merchandising, planning, and wholesale sales to maintain cohesiveness.

  • Analyze sales performance on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.

  • Identify workflow/system improvements and bring recommendations to the manager.

  • Assist with day-to-day needs of the Buying team and take initiative beyond core responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • 1–3 years of experience in apparel at a retailer and/or e-commerce company (preferred).

  • Strong analytical and math skills.

  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple tasks.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfort working cross-functionally.

  • Ability to adapt to complexities of an expanding organization.

  • Passion for fashion and sustainability.

Conditions

  • Full-time role.

  • Based in Culver City & Vernon, Los Angeles head offices.

  • Schedule: 4 days in-office per week, 1 day remote.

  • Compensation: $22–$25/hour base with 5% bonus eligibility; may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
