Rutgers University at New Jersey Medical School (Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences) is hiring full-time, tenure-track faculty for the Center for Emerging and Re-emerging Pathogens and the Public Health Research Institute. The role is an open-rank professor-level appointment focused on advancing basic and applied research in COVID-19, tuberculosis, and/or tuberculosis and HIV.

• Conduct basic and/or applied research in COVID-19, tuberculosis, and/or tuberculosis and HIV.
• Develop and lead an independent research program within the Center for Emerging and Re-emerging Pathogens and the Public Health Research Institute.

• Expertise in basic and applied research in COVID-19, tuberculosis, or tuberculosis and HIV.
• Ability to qualify for a tenure-track appointment at the professor level (open rank; multiple positions).
