Summary
Axia is a bootstrapped deal origination firm of 20 people connecting investment banks and private equity firms with qualified deal flow. This Head of Operations role involves taking strategic ideas and turning them into running systems, with ownership over client operations, internal processes, and team coordination.
What you'll do
- Own client operations end-to-end including onboarding, campaign execution, reporting, and relationship management for investment bank and PE clients
- Build and improve internal processes by designing workflows that scale as the company grows from 20 to 50+ employees
- Manage outbound campaign operations by overseeing execution, tracking performance, and optimizing results across client engagements
- Coordinate across the team as the connective tissue between research, outreach, and client delivery
- Manage vendors and tools by evaluating, onboarding, and managing external platforms and service providers
- Execute on the founder's vision by taking rough ideas and turning them into structured, repeatable processes
Requirements
Must-have:
- Fluent English written and spoken (client-facing with US firms)
- Proven experience managing client operations in a services business
- Strong process design skills with ability to build systems, not just follow them
- Ability to work EST hours (US Eastern Time)
- Self-starter who can take ambiguous direction and deliver structured results
Nice-to-have:
- Experience at a lead generation agency or B2B services firm
- Background managing outbound campaign operations (email, LinkedIn, multi-channel)
- Experience scaling operations in a fast-growing, bootstrapped company
- Familiarity with CRM and outreach tooling (HubSpot, Salesforce, Instantly, Smartlead, etc.)
Conditions
Schedule: Full-time contractor engagement with availability during US Eastern Time (EST) working hours
Location: Remote
Compensation: $1,500 - $4,000/month depending on experience
