Stockroom Clerk - Panavision Woodland Hills

Panavision supports filmmakers by providing equipment rentals and production services across cameras, lenses, lighting, and stage facilities. The Stockroom Clerk role supports Manufacturing by stocking, distributing, and requisitioning parts and preparing camera and lens packages. The purpose of the role is to keep stockroom operations organized, safe, and responsive to internal departments and customers.

• Stock and distribute parts for manufacturing cameras, lenses, and accessories
• Answer incoming calls and assist customers at the stockroom front counter
• Pull kits, work orders, barcodes, and requisitions for Manufacturing and Service departments
• Assist the Tool Crib with dispensing tools and miscellaneous items for Manufacturing
• Prepare camera and lens packages for release and service check
• Requisition parts for production planning and spares
• Maintain a well-organized stockroom and a safe work environment
• Maintain a neat, organized workstation in line with health and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
• Flexibility with changes in daily scheduled duties
• Ability to work on own initiative without constant supervision
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and interact effectively with other departments
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Preferred:

  • Knowledge of tools and materials used in machining and manufacturing
  • Understanding of stockroom procedures and inventory control
  • Knowledge of cameras, lenses, and accessories
  • Some ability to read blueprints
  • Proficiency with Windows-based applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Standard business hours with potential for extended hours and occasional weekend work
• Prompt and regular attendance required; expected to work full scheduled shifts
• Professional office/stockroom environment with frequent standing and walking
• Frequent use of hands and arms for tasks; may lift equipment up to 50 pounds
