Inventory and Supply Chain Coordinator
Summary
IND HEMP is hiring an Inventory and Supply Chain Coordinator to support inventory data management, production record keeping, and order fulfillment in Fort Benton. The role partners with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance to ensure accurate inventory tracking, efficient shipment staging, and reliable ERP-based workflow management.
What you'll do
Document incoming inventory (raw materials, packaging, equipment) and update tracking systems.
Track and collect production data, including raw material consumption and finished good creation.
Create and process work orders in NetSuite to consume raw materials and create finished goods inventory.
Gather, prepare, and assemble inventory for outgoing shipments, including documenting quantities and lot codes, and notify relevant teams of order status.
Monitor consumable inventory levels and support ordering plans with the Supply Chain Supervisor.
Manage and review weekly physical inventory counts for accuracy and update inventory records accordingly.
Track and report inventory locations for bulk raw materials and bulk/packaged finished goods.
Create documentation for inventory control and production reporting procedures and maintain internal control procedures.
Assist with company reporting and analytics, leveraging the ERP system and developing tools to improve efficiency.
Propose strategies to improve supply chain logistics and process optimization.
Work with Sales to reduce time between order staging and pickup.
Work with Quality Assurance on inventory control measures to follow SQF standards.
Support continued development, training, utilization, and improved functionality of the NetSuite ERP system.
Coordinate order fulfillment communications among Supply Chain team members.
Transport inventory between company warehouses and order pickup locations; load/unload trucks using pallet jack/forklift as needed.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education/training is a plus).
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, including inventory management and data management tools.
Proficiency in Excel and ERP software (NetSuite preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities.
Exceptional organization, logistics coordination, and attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive critical thinking.
Ability to work independently or in a team, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; flexibility with changing priorities.
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Ability to operate power-operated forklifts and related warehouse equipment; ability to palletize/package product safely and in accordance with food safety and QA standards.
Ability to load/unload trucks using hand pallet jack and forklift as needed.
Physical requirements: work in a warehouse environment with prolonged sitting/standing/walking; lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
Valid driver’s license.
Product and inventory management certification is a plus.
Conditions
Location: Fort Benton.
Compensation: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (approximately $3,808–$4,333 per month).
Work environment includes warehouse operations and transporting inventory between warehouses and pickup locations.
