People Operations Generalist

Employ is a remote-first talent acquisition software company offering ATS solutions (Jobvite, Lever, JazzHR) and AI tools used by 23,000+ global customers. The People Operations Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations by owning employee lifecycle changes, HR helpdesk service delivery, and HRIS record accuracy. The role strengthens compliance, audit readiness, and the overall employee HR experience through precise documentation and process improvements.

• Process end-to-end employee lifecycle changes (transfers, job/department/manager changes, pay changes, and other profile/organizational updates).
• Collect, verify, and file required documentation and approvals; maintain organized employee files and standard operating procedures.
• Triage, assign, and track incoming HR tickets in Jira; serve as first point of contact for Tier 1 HR inquiries.
• Maintain response SLAs and accurate case notes; resolve routine requests (employment verification letters, basic reporting requests, documentation inquiries).
• Provide basic Talent Acquisition Operations support as assigned.
• Conduct regular audits of employee records, I-9s, and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements; support data privacy standards, audit readiness, and secure access within HRIS and payroll systems.
• Maintain employee records in ADP; support internal and compliance reporting and coordinate audits.

• Up to 3 years of HR experience (ADP Workforce Now and Jira preferred).
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to interpret data and recommend process improvements.
