Summary

Uber Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Regional Operations Manager to lead driver supply strategy across U.S. cities. The role focuses on managing driver budgets and incentive programs, using analytics and experimentation to optimize supply and improve the earner experience. This position partners cross-functionally with product, engineering, and city operations to launch and scale impactful initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Manage driver budgets, incentive spend, and incentive strategy across all U.S. cities.

  • Provide supply analytics, insights, and reporting to inform marketplace decisions.

  • Grow and maintain a healthy, high-quality driver base by optimizing supply levers.

  • Improve driver onboarding and re-onboarding experiences to increase activation and retention.

  • Design and implement incentive strategies aligned with market dynamics and business objectives.

  • Launch and scale new product offerings that enhance the earner experience.

  • Streamline operational processes to improve compliance, efficiency, and driver satisfaction.

  • Lead deployment of targeted promotions and incentive programs across U.S. markets.

  • Set goals, analyze driver behavior data, and continuously optimize incentive strategies.

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and city operations to ensure alignment with company priorities.

  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to scale and sustain growth for the earner platform.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Business, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

  • Experience with data analytics and market strategy.

  • SQL proficiency.

  • Data analysis using Python or R.

  • Stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

  • Project management experience.

  • Rideshare marketplace incentive program experience.

  • Marketplace optimization and supply-demand modeling experience.

  • Experimentation design and causal inference experience.

Conditions
