Summary
HireTalent (Staffing & Recruiting Firm) is seeking a People Operations Coordinator to deliver best-in-class employee support for a client in a shared services model. The role serves as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries, resolving ServiceNow cases within SLA while supporting scalable employee service processes.
What you'll do
- Partner with cross-functional employee support stakeholders (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Talent Success, IT, Legal, etc.) to answer a broad range of employee questions using a shared services support model.
- Serve as first point of contact for employee inquiries in ServiceNow; respond to and resolve cases within SLA across topics such as onboarding, benefits, time off, payroll, company policies, Workday support, and offboarding.
- Maintain and manage a ServiceNow case queue, including clear and timely communications with employees to meet case closure and SLA goals.
- Prepare and complete time-sensitive HR documents and paperwork accurately, routing items to appropriate teams (including I-9s, personnel files, employment verifications, unemployment claims, and offboarding paperwork).
- Complete weekly and monthly audits with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and employee records.
- Promote the Employee Service Center model by guiding employees to the intranet and AI-powered agent for self-service; identify content gaps and suggest improvements.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and perform other related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Participate in a structured 1–2 month training program covering client HR processes, SOPs, and tools.
Requirements
- 1+ years of HR-related experience (HR exposure through classes/coursework acceptable).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including delivering sensitive information professionally and compassionately.
- Customer service experience (phone or front-line support) and strong customer satisfaction focus.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail; ability to maintain flawless accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt to evolving processes, policies, and technology.
- Self-starter able to work reliably in a remote setting.
- Understanding of HR processes and systems; experience with ServiceNow HRSD and Workday preferred.
- Nice to have: experience with any case management system (ServiceNow preferred), Workday or another HRIS, and a process improvement mindset.
