Senior Graphic Designer

Summary

Bay FC, the first NWSL team in the Bay Area, is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer to help shape and evolve the club’s visual identity across all fan touchpoints. This role partners closely with the Art Director and Creative Services team to concept and execute high-impact creative that supports marketing, content, and brand storytelling.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the Art Director and Creative Services team to concept, design, and execute visuals across social media, marketing, email, ticketing, in-game display, broadcast, merchandise, and print.

  • Lead projects end-to-end from concept through final execution, including timelines, workflows, and review/approval processes with minimal oversight.

  • Maintain and steward Bay FC’s brand standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and evolution across all touchpoints.

  • Create bold, original, strategic creative solutions that advance visual storytelling.

  • Design and oversee development of logos and visual identities for campaigns, initiatives, and events.

  • Create custom graphics and illustrations that communicate key messages and resonate with fans.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, partnerships, and other stakeholders.

  • Execute and oversee design production tasks, including refining existing assets, organizing files, and ensuring best-practice handoffs.

  • Stay current on design trends, cultural moments, and industry best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showing concept-driven work, brand systems, and execution across digital and print.

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

  • Motion and photography editing skills are a plus.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and composition.

  • Ability to translate strategy into compelling visual solutions.

  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to best-in-class creative.

  • Strong knowledge of print and digital design production processes.

Conditions

  • Compensation starts at $85,000 per year; starting pay may vary based on experience, skills, and scope.
