Summary
Farmers National Bank of Canfield is seeking a Director of Information Technology to oversee network administration, telecommunications equipment, and IT staff. The role ensures IT operations are streamlined and aligned with organizational objectives while identifying and implementing cost-effective technology solutions across the company.
What you'll do
- Supervise administration of local and wide area networks and direct diagnostics to resolve network and telecommunications issues while ensuring data integrity, reliability, and performance standards.
- Assist with strategic and project planning; organize and negotiate allocation of IT resources.
- Participate as a member of the IT Steering Committee.
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures, including architecture, security, business continuity, standards, and service provisions.
- Coordinate with equipment, software, and communications vendors to install, maintain, and upgrade network configurations.
- Stay current on emerging network software, hardware, and communications technologies and recommend implementations.
- Assist the Chief Information Officer with corporate IT technology plans and budgeting.
- Partner with departments to analyze technology needs, evaluate software and hardware solutions, and support implementations.
- Develop and maintain audit and programming standards to ensure security of corporate data.
- Supervise, counsel, and evaluate Network Administrator(s) and Support Technicians; assist with supervising IT Operations.
- Recommend continuing technical education for department staff.
- Oversee development and maintenance of internal application programs; schedule staff assignments and support coverage.
- Maintain technology aspects of the Disaster Recovery Plan; ensure backup procedures are in place and employees are trained.
- Complete mandatory and elective training, including BSA and Anti-Money Laundering procedures; maintain compliance with rules and regulations.
- Maintain regular, predictable attendance and complete other duties as assigned.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, and resolving complaints and problems for supervised units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- Minimum 7 years of IT-related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination), including banking operations exposure.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft Server, Arista, Azure, Microsoft 365, Network Administration, Information Security, SQL, Exchange or other email platforms, and databases.
