Head of Performance

Summary

JustMarkets Tech is seeking a Head of Performance to lead the design and execution of a company-wide performance strategy. This leadership role is responsible for creating a unified performance framework that translates business goals into measurable outcomes and enables data-driven decision-making across the organization.

What you'll do

  • Design and evolve a unified performance framework across all functions and regions aligned with business strategy
  • Translate company goals into clear, measurable performance standards and scorecards in collaboration with functional leaders
  • Own the end-to-end quarterly performance cycle, ensuring disciplined execution and data integrity
  • Lead performance and calibration discussions with senior management and C-level stakeholders
  • Assess and refine KPI quality and effectiveness across the business
  • Identify performance risks, inefficiencies, and misalignment between targets and results
  • Ensure performance outcomes are used consistently in promotion, underperformance, and reward decisions
  • Partner with Finance and HR to align performance results with compensation and salary reviews
  • Define standards and guardrails for KPIs and metrics used in performance decisions
  • Prepare analytical materials and recommendations for executive committees
  • Build and lead a team responsible for performance operations, analytics, and governance
  • Continuously improve performance systems to support company growth

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience in strategy, business operations, analytics, consulting, or performance-related leadership
  • Minimum 3 years in a senior leadership or management position
  • Proven experience designing and operating performance frameworks in fast-growing, metrics-driven organisations
  • Strong understanding of how performance metrics connect to business results and growth
  • Experience leading structured performance and calibration discussions with senior stakeholders
  • Highly analytical mindset with ability to identify root causes and performance risks
  • Ability to manage complex, time-bound initiatives with high execution standards
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of ownership, integrity, and discretion with sensitive information
  • Fluency in English; Ukrainian or Russian is a strong advantage
  • Willingness to work from Cyprus office
  • Plus: Fintech, brokerage, or regulated industry experience; Top-tier consulting background; Experience linking performance to compensation; BI and analytics platform experience
