Motion Designer (Impulse)

Headway Inc is a global EdTech company revolutionizing lifelong learning with digital products serving over 150 million users worldwide. You will join the Impulse team, creators of the world's most downloaded brain training app with 100+ million downloads, as a Motion Designer to produce high-impact animated ad creatives. This role offers the opportunity to make creatives seen by hundreds of thousands daily while testing hypotheses with real performance data and accessing cutting-edge AI tools.

• Produce engaging 2D animated ad creatives based on briefs from the creative team, designed to differentiate the product from competitors
• Collaborate closely with creative marketers, actively contributing to idea generation, discussions, and brainstorming sessions
• Enhance creatives using animation, visual and sound effects, subtitles, and a variety of AI tools to maximize emotional impact
• Continuously iterate on video creatives using performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and hook rate to improve results
• Research, test, and implement new tools and automation solutions to optimize production workflows and elevate creative quality
• Participate in team discussions and understand all aspects of the business including marketing and business process improvement

• 12 years of commercial experience creating 2D animated videos or handling video editing tasks
• Strong hands-on proficiency in After Effects for motion design and animation work
• Basic working knowledge of Illustrator, Figma, and Premiere Pro
• Practical experience using AI tools such as ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Sora, NanoBanana, Freepik, or similar solutions
• Solid understanding of animation and editing principles with ability to combine visuals, motion, and sound into competitive video products
• English proficiency at B1+ level sufficient for research and working with content
• Strong time management skills with ability to plan workload effectively and meet deadlines consistently
• Readiness to take ownership, responsibility, and make tangible impact on the product

Schedule: Full-time position with hybrid remote option - you can decide to work from office, remotely, or combine both
