Summary

Nema Health is a survivor- and clinician-led virtual treatment program for PTSD and trauma, delivering intensive evidence-based care with measurable outcomes. The Chief of Staff will act as a force multiplier for the co-founding team, ensuring strategy translates into execution across growth, operations, and clinical enablement.

What you'll do

  • Partner with the C-suite to translate strategy into execution and drive progress on highest-priority initiatives, surfacing risks, tradeoffs, and insights.
  • Enable executive leadership by stepping into gaps, owning high-impact work, and increasing leadership leverage.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination by synthesizing complex work into clear plans, timelines, and updates.
  • Lead high-impact special projects from concept through execution, structuring ambiguous problems and developing recommendations for decision-making.
  • Establish and refine operating rhythms, processes, and lightweight systems to improve execution as the organization scales.
  • Continuously reassess where to add the greatest value, adapt scope as needs evolve, and transition work to long-term owners over time.

Requirements

  • Finishing an MBA or 1–2 years post-MBA, or equivalent advanced degree with exceptional business acumen.
  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, operations, or a similarly rigorous problem-solving-focused environment.
  • Experience within healthcare and general understanding of the healthcare system.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with a bias toward action and accountability.
  • Resourceful, persistent, solutions-oriented; takes ownership of outcomes.
  • Clear, confident communication with executives, clinicians, and operators.
  • Ability to learn new tools and systems quickly (e.g., analytics platforms, CRMs, project management tools, healthcare workflows).

Bonus: behavioral health/care delivery experience; early-stage startup or high-growth exposure; history of succeeding in undefined roles; experience supporting founders or executive teams.

Conditions

  • Compensation: base salary $130,000–$160,000 per year; eligible for competitive equity.
