IT Infrastructure Project Manager (with German)

N-iX is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager with German language skills to support infrastructure and operational initiatives for a leading insurance services provider. The role involves managing multiple parallel IT infrastructure projects, coordinating between teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives while reporting to the Director of IT Germany.

• Manage and coordinate IT infrastructure and operational projects
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
• Coordinate communication between local IT teams, global IT teams, and business stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and ensure tasks are completed according to plan
• Provide regular project status updates and reporting
• Support project governance, documentation, and risk tracking
• Lead typical projects including Azure migrations, AVD implementation, IT integration after acquisitions, infrastructure improvements, and vendor coordination

• Proven experience in IT Project Management, preferably within infrastructure or IT operations
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across technical teams and business units
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience working in international and distributed IT environments
• Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud environments (Azure preferred)
• Familiarity with server environments and infrastructure operations
• Ability to quickly understand and adapt to new technologies
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and M365 environment
• English and German at upper-intermediate or advanced level
