Summary
SoulCycle is a purpose-driven fitness and wellness company focused on creating a mind-body-soul community experience. The VP of People Experience will lead the end-to-end employee journey, designing and executing people programs across culture, compensation, engagement, talent, and employee relations to support business growth and employee satisfaction.
What you'll do
- Provide thought leadership and guidance to executive leadership across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, organizational design, and inclusive engagement practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to design and implement organizational structures and processes that support growth while preserving company culture.
- Lead performance management processes, talent development programs, compensation strategies, and internal mobility initiatives.
- Manage employee relations with sensitivity and sound judgment; coach managers on performance, feedback, and employee development.
- Collaborate with shared services partners across recruiting, payroll, legal, HRIS, and benefits administration to ensure seamless employee processes.
- Build cross-functional partnerships with teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align people strategy with business objectives.
- Communicate empathetically with creative, mission-driven teams, navigating feedback and high expectations with clarity.
Requirements
Minimum 10+ years managing a dynamic People/HR function, ideally in a high-growth, mission-driven organization.
Experience supporting a multi-layered workforce (hourly and salaried employees, corporate teams, instructors, field-based and geographically dispersed teams).
Proven ability to create and lead people programs in an entrepreneurial, evolving culture with emphasis on engagement, development, and organizational design.
Experience managing HR processes and policies including performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR compliance; ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; high attention to detail.
Data-driven approach to decision-making and continuous process improvement.

Industry experience in consumer brands, hospitality, or fitness is a plus.
Conditions
Compensation: up to $250,000 base salary plus bonus opportunity.
