HR Generalist (Operations)
Summary
Hims & Hers is a public health and wellness platform focused on making healthcare more accessible, affordable, and personalized. The HR Generalist (Operations) will support People Operations by managing on-site HR functions at an Ohio location, ensuring core HR processes and employee support are delivered accurately and consistently.
What you'll do
Serve as a consistent on-site HR presence for employees and site leadership.
Execute core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
Support site-based onboarding and offboarding activities end-to-end.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems.
Respond to employee inquiries and requests; escalate complex issues to appropriate partners.
Support compliance activities such as employment verification and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with site leaders and the broader HR team to facilitate daily HR operations.
Assist in developing and refining standard HR procedures as the organization grows.
Participate in HR initiatives to improve employee experience and operational efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or a people-facing administrative role.
Ability to work on-site at one of the Ohio locations.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with HR systems (HRIS) and documentation management.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
Comfort working within established processes; knows when to ask for guidance or escalate.
Interest in building a long-term career in Human Resources.
