Chief of Staff to the CEO

Robertson Stephens is a fast-growing national wealth management firm with over $8.5B in client assets and 26 locations nationwide. The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a highly visible role that partners directly with the CEO and executive team to drive high-priority initiatives that shape the firm’s growth and direction. This position is designed as a launchpad into a future senior leadership role within the company.

• Partner with the CEO on strategic capital raising initiatives, including preparing investor materials, performing analysis, and supporting execution.
• Drive cross-functional, firmwide initiatives to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely execution.
• Help devise and manage new organic growth strategies.
• Expand service offerings and enhance the client experience.
• Develop and support new advisor acquisition strategies.
• Attend Operating Committee meetings and ensure follow-up on decisions and action items.
• Interact with Board members and senior principals at Long Arc Capital and create board-related materials as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ideally 4–8 years of professional experience (e.g., consulting, banking, investing, or strategic roles).
• High professionalism, judgment, and discretion with sensitive and confidential information.
• Comfort interacting with senior executives, board members, investors, and external partners.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tools used to prepare models, reports, and term sheets.
• Beneficial: knowledge of wealth/asset management, M&A experience, and investment banking or consulting training.
• Self-starter mindset with ability to multitask; strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Base salary range: $200,000–$225,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonus and potential equity-based compensation.
• Ability to work virtually with a distributed team across the country.
• Travel as needed to San Francisco or other Robertson Stephens locations (may include travel involving the team in India).
