Summary
The New York State Unified Court System is hiring a Paralegal (Management Analyst) for the Office of Court Administration Counsel's Office. The role supports attorneys who represent judges, court administrators, and court personnel by assisting with litigation matters, discovery, filings, and case administration.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with assistant deputy counsel to prepare responses to complaints and discovery requests.
- Review, summarize, and organize discovery (especially e-discovery), pleadings, and other legal documents.
- Conduct intake on new cases and route matters with supervisory attorneys.
- Perform legal research and drafting under the direction of assistant deputy counsel.
- File legal documents on NYCEF and PACER.
- Prepare and manage exhibits for depositions and motion papers.
- Process litigation hold request letters by gathering information, preserving documents, and coordinating responses with litigators and the Attorney General.
- Serve as the contact for EEOC complaints.
- Conduct UCC searches.
- Input, update, and maintain matters in the internal case management system.
- Generate case reports.
- Manage Westlaw, Lexis, and NYLJ subscriptions.
- Assist with record-retention policies.
Requirements
- One year in the Principal Court Analyst title; or
- Master's degree in Public or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Conditions
Base salary: $94,386 plus $4,920 location pay.
