QA Automation Engineer (Voice AI)

Newo Inc., a Silicon Valley-based company, is seeking a Quality & Performance Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of their Voice AI platform (Newo.ai). You will test real-time voice systems including speech recognition, text-to-speech, and conversational AI pipelines while collaborating with ML engineers and product teams.

• Test Voice AI systems including ASR, TTS, and conversational pipelines
• Validate voice interactions across different accents and audio conditions
• Perform performance and load testing for real-time voice services
• Simulate high-volume voice traffic and concurrent calls
• Identify performance bottlenecks and latency issues
• Develop automated testing frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor system performance and quality metrics

• 3+ years experience in QA, SDET, or Performance Engineering
• Experience testing real-time or distributed systems
• Experience with API testing and automation
• Programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Nice to have: Voice AI, ASR, TTS, or conversational AI systems experience
• Nice to have: Telephony / VoIP systems experience
• Nice to have: Load testing tools (JMeter, k6, Gatling)
• Nice to have: Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
