Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer

GlobalLogic seeks a Senior/Lead DevOps Engineer for an automation technology leader reimagining supply chain with AI-powered robotic and software platforms. The role focuses on designing and managing scalable infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments while leading DevOps practices across the organization.

• Lead design, implementation, and management of scalable infrastructure in cloud and on-premises environments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Helm, and Ansible
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters for high availability and performance
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and automation platforms
• Administer cloud environments (Google Cloud) for efficiency and cost optimization
• Ensure system security through monitoring, firewalls, certificates, and proxy configurations
• Perform Linux/Windows server administration including maintenance, patching, and troubleshooting
• Maintain version control systems and ensure code versioning best practices
• Mentor junior team members and shape DevOps strategies
• Participate in monthly one-week production support rotation

• 4+ years hands-on experience as DevOps Engineer in product development environment
• Expert-level proficiency in Kubernetes (cloud and on-premises)
• Strong experience with version control tools including GitHub
• Proven experience with Google Cloud and other cloud platforms
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform, Helm, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, ArgoCD
• In-depth understanding of Linux and Windows server administration
• Experience managing production issues
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices
• Solid understanding of network and security concepts (firewalls, proxies, certificates)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Tempo, Mimir) preferred

Monthly one-week production support rotation required to maintain system stability and availability.
