Quality Assurance Team Lead

N26 is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Team Lead to join their KYC QA team. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and anti-financial crime policies while leading a team of QA Analysts and Associates. This position is crucial to establishing a culture of compliance that authorities, customers, and stakeholders can trust.

• Coach and empower team members by inspiring them with positive attitude, trust and focus
• Grow the team with right structure, size, and capabilities through hiring and onboarding of suitable candidates
• Establish development plans for new and existing team members
• Review and define OKRs relevant for the team
• Participate in implementation of strategic roadmap of KYC QA
• Present projects and ideas to the wider organisation
• Ensure risk awareness in the team and mitigation of risks with relevant action plans
• Use data to reach SLAs and make forecasts
• Contribute to continuous improvement of customer journey through quality assurance insights
• Drive efficiency and scalability of KYC QA processes through initiatives and projects

Background:

• Proven track record of relevant experience in KYC and/or AML
• 1+ years of experience leading teams as People Manager with focus on coaching and oversight of QA processes in KYC context

Skills:

• Advanced understanding of regulations on Financial Crime, AML, terrorism financing, fraud, KYC
• Experience in BPO Vendor Management
• Fluency in English and at least one other key language (DE, FR, IT, ES)
• Data analytics mindset in decision making
• Detail oriented, diligent and reliable
• Hands-on mentality with ownership
• Ability to manage operational requests as senior expert
• Knowledgeable about processes and tools relevant to the area
