Summary
FieldWrk is a branding and marketing agency serving essential industries such as civil construction, engineering, energy infrastructure, mining, and waste management. The Graphic Designer will create high-quality brand assets, templates, and marketing materials across digital and print to help clients stand out and scale. This role works closely with a collaborative creative team under the guidance of the Creative Director to deliver design that supports client goals.
What you'll do
- Deliver high-quality design work that serves client goals and upholds FieldWrk design standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to present, review, and iterate on designs; ensure top quality in final deliverables.
- Learn client businesses and industries to better connect with target audiences and inform design decisions.
- Execute a range of design projects across digital and print.
- Create and maintain templates (Word, PowerPoint/Slides, InDesign, Canva).
- Produce digital graphics (icons, illustrations, infographics, social content, paid ads, email, digital OOH).
- Produce print deliverables (stationery, brochures, RFPs, event displays/banners/collateral, team gear/PPE and merch, OOH).
- Support visual brand identity work (mood boards, logo development, type systems, color palettes, mockups, presentation decks, brand guidelines, final exports).
- Support creative campaigns (employer branding/recruiting materials, mockups, decks, campaign guidelines, final exports).
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of proven design experience crafting brands and design materials (agency experience preferred).
- Tools: Expert proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Templates: Proven ability building high-quality templates in Figma, Canva, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Design fundamentals: Strong visual eye and understanding of best practices, color theory, and typography.
- Communication: Confident communicator able to help guide discussions and decision-making.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration stack: Experience with Google Productivity Suite, Microsoft Office, monday.com (or similar), and Slack (or similar).
- Workflow: Comfortable in a cooperative, iterative, feedback-driven process; strong appreciation for the relationship between copy and design.
- Schedule: Ability to work within CST hours (9 AM–5 PM CT).
- Mindset: Desire to make positive impact through design for hardworking/construction industries; people-first, self-starter, scrappy/curious, detail-obsessed, brave/humble, joyful/grounded.
- AI use: Use AI intentionally as an assistant (not as the designer); unedited AI-generated visuals or relying on AI for concept development is not acceptable.
