Product Designer

LinkedIn is hiring a Product Designer to help advance its vision of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce through quality, inclusive design. In this role, you will design holistic, user-centered experiences across LinkedIn’s consumer and enterprise products while collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.

• Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale, and the specifics of the user-centered design process.
• Create holistic design solutions that address business, brand, and user requirements.
• Partner with web developers and engineers to deliver final product experiences.
• Collaborate with user research, UX writing, product management, engineering, marketing, and data science to connect user insights, design patterns, and business goals.

• BA/BS in graphic design, design communication, human-computer interaction, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Experience participating in the complete product development lifecycle of web and/or software applications.

• 2+ years of experience in user experience design or related industry experience (corporate, software, web, or agency).

• Portfolio, website, or other work samples required for consideration.

• Preferred: Ability to independently deliver small-to-medium projects and/or own components of larger projects with support.

• Preferred: Ability to influence decisions through active engagement in team discussions.

• Preferred: Ability to solve structured problems with few dependencies across products/teams.

• Preferred: Ability to design end-to-end user flows and consider impacts on adjacent experiences.

• Preferred: Ability to identify opportunities to extend design system language.

• Hybrid work model: performed from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days based on team business needs.
