Summary

Raspberry Pi Foundation (Raspberry Pi Foundation North America) is a nonprofit focused on expanding access to computer science education and AI literacy for young people. The Learning Manager will develop and scale high-quality educational materials and professional learning experiences, with a central focus on advancing the Experience AI program in the US. The role supports teachers and students (primarily ages 11–14) with cutting-edge AI/ML learning resources and training.

What you'll do

  • Develop and deliver learning experiences, content, resources, and training for the Foundation’s educational programmes and products.
  • Ensure learning experiences and materials reflect evidence-based pedagogy and the Foundation’s approaches to teaching and learning across formal and non-formal contexts.
  • Support, adapt, deliver, and scale the Experience AI programme in the US, contributing to ongoing development.
  • Contribute to the Foundation’s teaching and learning strategy; engage with research and best practice to identify improvement and innovation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners to deliver programme goals.
  • Engage with quality assurance systems and policies, including inclusion and accessibility requirements.
  • Use user feedback and data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Represent the Foundation to external audiences and stakeholders as needed.
  • Contribute to thought leadership via articles/blogs, public speaking, and participation in research and evaluation.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of computing; degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related subject.
  • Teaching qualification or significant teaching experience, including at least 3 years teaching computing science, mathematics, or a closely related field at middle and/or high school level.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI literacy curriculum for students; demonstrable interest in current AI-for-education developments.
  • Experience delivering high-quality learning experiences, content, resources, or training across varied settings and contexts.
  • Comfort with a broad range of technologies (hardware and software) and willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Understanding of computing pedagogy in formal education and informal learning contexts.
  • Commitment to the Foundation’s mission and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and external partners; openness to work across programmes and products.
  • Eligible to work in the USA.
  • Willingness to travel within the US and potentially internationally.

Conditions

  • Permanent contract; full-time, part-time, or flexible basis.
  • Remote with regular travel in the USA; based in Georgia with an established team.
