Senior Data Engineer (GCP, Oracle)

International consulting firm seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle databases. This full-time role focuses on supporting trading, risk, and analytics teams with real-time and batch data solutions for a Fortune 500-connected enterprise.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines within Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Develop integration and transformation workflows between cloud data services and on-premises Oracle databases
• Work with trading, risk, and analytics teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Optimize and monitor performance of data systems for latency-sensitive trading applications
• Collaborate using Agile/Scrum methodologies to deliver business-critical projects
• Ensure data governance, lineage, and compliance with regulatory standards (MiFID II, FCA)
• Automate data workflows using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Strong experience with GCP (BigQuery, DataPlex, DBT, Pub/Sub, Dataflow)
• Expertise in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and complex stored procedures
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with streaming/messaging systems (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Container orchestration (Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT design patterns
• Familiarity with Agile practices including Scrum and Kanban
• Exposure to financial markets or high-performance trading environments preferred

Schedule: Full-time, ASAP (1-2 weeks after approval)

Location: Poland only

Compensation: ~4000-5000 USD gross monthly (B2B contract)
