Sr. AI First Developer

Smartcat is seeking a Sr. AI First Developer to join their innovative team reshaping the multilingual content industry. In this role, you will deliver production-quality features by applying AI aggressively across the entire development lifecycle, from requirements and design to coding, testing, and release.

• Deliver production-quality features at a speed and scale that traditional teams cannot match
• Apply AI aggressively across every stage of the development lifecycle — from requirements and design to coding, testing, and release
• Build and optimize AI-first workflows that integrate AI across all development stages
• Raise the bar for speed, quality, and ownership in product delivery

• Start shipping real features using AI at every stage of development

• Proven track record of delivering production-grade products using an AI-driven approach
• Mastery in using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, WindSurf, GPT APIs, LLMs) across the entire development lifecycle
• Strong technical foundation in AWS, .NET, Python, and MongoDB
• Experience in delivering high-quality, production-grade features faster than traditional teams
• Ability to independently own the full lifecycle of feature delivery through AI-first methods
• Experience in identifying and driving improvements in velocity, automation, and team efficiency
• Mentorship experience in using AI as a multiplier across development
• Obsessed with delivery: you ship, you improve, you own the outcome
