Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (React / Node.js / AWS)

Join a global consulting company partnering with a major UK-based media & telecom company to build internal tooling for short-form video content creation and management. Lead the newly formed SFV Tooling team as a Senior Fullstack Engineer, working on a greenfield product with high standards for code quality and operational excellence.

• Lead design and development of complex product features end-to-end
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to raise team standards
• Write tests using TDD approaches with non-negotiable quality and coverage standards
• Own technical documentation and take responsibility for accuracy and completeness
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, including out-of-hours support when needed
• Work closely with product, project and technical leads to shape implementable specifications
• Participate in and lead Agile ceremonies as needed
• Collaborate with third-party providers where required

• Strong production experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Solid understanding of web architecture and key technologies
• TDD and broader QA/testing expertise
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally AWS CodeBuild
• Knowledge of non-functional concerns: monitoring, performance, security, and scalability
• Agile project experience in professional software teams
• Fluent English (written and spoken) for direct communication with UK-side stakeholders
• Nice to have: Experience across multiple codebases simultaneously, mentoring junior/mid engineers, AWS hands-on experience beyond pipelines
