Summary
Art of Spin is seeking a Senior Game Designer to own the complete game lifecycle for casino games including Slots, Crash, and Fast Games. In this role, you will define core mechanics, progression systems, and mathematical foundations while leading cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, retention-focused gaming experiences.
What you'll do
- Design and develop casino game concepts (Slots, Crash, Fast Games) aligned with product strategy
- Define core mechanics, progression systems, RTP/volatility logic, and reward structures
- Prepare and maintain structured GDD documentation including math logic, UX flows, and feature specifications
- Collaborate with mathematicians on simulations, balancing, and probability models
- Lead visual direction together with the art team and provide vision, feedback, and approvals
- Coordinate sound, UX, and animation requirements
- Integrate gamification systems (missions, achievements, levels, meta-loops) into gameplay
- Analyze playtests, QA feedback, and product KPIs to refine mechanics
- Monitor competitors and contribute to long-term product innovation
Requirements
- 3+ years of Game Design experience in Gambling / iGaming
- Strong experience designing Slots, Crash, or Fast Games
- Deep understanding of RTP, volatility, and probability logic
- Experience writing detailed GDD documentation
- Strong product mindset and system-level thinking
- Experience working cross-functionally with art, math, dev, and QA teams
- Understanding of retention mechanics and meta-systems
- English language proficiency: Intermediate or higher
- Would be a plus: Experience launching games to production, LiveOps or event-driven mechanics experience, strong understanding of gambling player psychology, experience analyzing post-launch KPIs
