Senior Vice President North America Operations

Rolls-Royce Power Systems (RRPS) is hiring a Senior Vice President, North American Operations to lead regional operations and drive business growth across North America. Reporting to the Executive Vice President, Operations, the role holds full operational responsibility for North American Power Systems activities and leads an organization of approximately 1,000 employees. The position supports the Rolls-Royce Group commitment to engineering excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and RRPS standards.
• Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity at all North American sites.
• Embed robust quality systems and lead continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
• Lead operational readiness and transformation projects, enabling industrialization and integration of new power technologies.
• Participate in regional and global business planning and strategy to align with Rolls-Royce Group objectives.
• Foster collaboration with cross-functional and global teams to ensure communication and execution of priorities.
• Develop and coach plant leadership teams, focusing on succession planning, talent growth, and capability building.
• Drive capacity expansion and scalability initiatives to meet customer demand and support growth.
• Uphold compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies to ensure operational integrity.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field with 12+ years of progressive operations leadership experience (preferred industries: power systems, automotive, defense, or related industrial sectors); or
• Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field with 8+ years of progressive operations leadership experience; or
• PhD/JD in engineering, business administration, or related field with 5+ years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Preferred: experience overseeing multi-site operations in a complex international and matrixed environment.
• Preferred: track record implementing safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence initiatives, including organizational transformation.
• Preferred: strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and manufacturing/industrial operational standards.
• Preferred: excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence and inspire stakeholders.

• Location: Aiken, South Carolina (preferred), with regular travel to RRPS sites across North America (including Aiken and Mankato) and regular international travel.
• Compensation: base pay range with discretionary bonus plan.
