Product Designer

Forbes is a global media brand reaching more than 140 million people monthly through journalism, events, and international editions. Forbes is hiring a remote Product Designer to deliver user-centered design across its digital ecosystem and improve engagement and business outcomes. The role partners closely with product, editorial, engineering, growth, and data teams and reports to the Associate Director of Product Design.

• Solve product experience problems and ship design solutions across the Forbes product suite.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Editorial, and cross-functional partners to move ideas from concept to launch.
• Contribute new ideas, apply best practices, and push beyond initial requirements.
• Use research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions.
• Advocate for a cohesive end-to-end user experience when evaluating features and enhancements.
• Proactively seek collaboration and input across teams and disciplines.
• Communicate design rationale and intent to design and non-design stakeholders.
• Remain resilient and flexible as priorities shift in a fast-paced environment.

• 3–4 years of experience in digital product design.
• Strong knowledge and practice of UX principles and best practices, with visual design sensibility.
• Experience establishing, contributing to, and/or expanding a design system.
• Experience applying research, usability testing, and data to guide design decisions.
• Ability to thrive in iterative, test-and-learn environments and actively seek feedback.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high craft and clear design thinking.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable designing and prototyping in Figma.

• Plus:

  • Experience designing editorial or content-driven products.
  • Interaction design experience.
  • Experience designing ecommerce digital experiences.

• Remote role (within the U.S.).

• Estimated annual base salary range: $85,000–$100,000 (final pay based on experience, education, skills, and budget).
