Summary
Infotek Consulting LLC is an end-to-end services firm specializing in Deltek ERP, Microsoft Service Provider, and IBM Cognos solutions. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) leads day-to-day operations and holds the leadership team accountable while translating company vision into disciplined execution. Reporting to the CEO, this role drives operational efficiency, predictable growth, profitability, and exceptional customer outcomes.
What you'll do
- Motivate, coach, and hold department leads accountable to achieve organizational goals and foster a high-performance culture.
- Translate company vision into annual and quarterly goals; drive execution and alignment across teams as a strategic partner to the CEO.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards; monitor KPIs, forecast issues, and trigger structured problem-solving.
- Identify root causes of operational issues, remove obstacles, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and integrate departments for alignment and efficiency.
- Document and standardize critical processes; implement training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead operating cadence including weekly leadership meetings, quarterly planning, and annual strategy sessions; publish agendas and action items and review key metrics.
- Oversee day-to-day delivery, capacity planning, resource allocation, project health, risk management, and service quality.
- Own P&L outcomes; partner with Finance on budgets and forecasts; establish compensation and performance management frameworks and talent plans.
- Ensure legal, policy, and security compliance across operations.
- Align operational capacity with sales pipeline and growth strategy; ensure smooth handoffs from Sales to Delivery and support new sales/marketing initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years leading operations for a professional services or technology firm.
- Deep understanding of Operations, HR, Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
- Proven success building operating rhythms, performance dashboards, and scalable cross-functional processes.
- Competency in strategic planning and business development.
- Expertise leading managers; strong coaching, conflict resolution, and change leadership skills.
- Data-driven decision-making with comfort interpreting financial statements and operating metrics.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and public speaking skills (prepared and impromptu).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage conflict and promote cohesion.
- Working knowledge of IT/business infrastructure and MS Office.
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA preferred.
- May require travel; occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
Conditions
- Location: Remote.
- Status: Full-time; FLSA: Exempt; Department: Executive; Reports to: CEO.
- Compensation: starting at $180K+ plus incentive compensation.
