Summary
Firefly is a data-first out-of-home ad network using car top and in-car digital screens with location-based, GPS-enabled triggers across major U.S. markets. The Freelance Photographer/Videographer role captures and documents in-market Firefly campaigns and activations to produce high-quality visual assets for campaign reporting and marketing needs.
What you'll do
- Capture photo and/or video content of digital taxi tops, fully wrapped vehicles (static and in motion), and experiential activations in active city environments.
- Follow structured shot lists and ensure required coverage is completed on-site.
- Communicate clearly with remote teams before, during, and after shoots.
- Troubleshoot and take initiative to solve on-site challenges while maintaining quality standards.
- Edit and deliver high-resolution photo and/or video assets within the agreed timeline.
- Organize files according to provided naming and delivery guidelines and upload via internet for asset delivery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional photography and/or videography experience.
- Experience with outdoor, automotive, event, or branded content shoots.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Professional DSLR or mirrorless camera (full-frame preferred).
- Wide and standard lenses required; telephoto preferred for motion capture.
- Tripod required; gimbal preferred for video assignments.
- Ability to shoot RAW (photo) and 4K video preferred.
- Reliable laptop and high-speed internet for delivering assets.
- Portfolio required (reviewed prior to initial interview).
Conditions
- Project-based freelance assignments scheduled based on local campaign needs.
- All shoots are on-location and typically last up to 4 hours.
- Standard hourly compensation based on agreed terms.
