Summary
Uber is hiring a Recruiter to support its Marketing, Policy & Communications teams by finding top-tier creative and strategic talent. The role focuses on delivering full-cycle recruiting with a high-touch candidate experience while partnering with leadership to build talent strategies. You will use data, sourcing expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to scale hiring and strengthen diverse pipelines.
What you'll do
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for specialized roles across Marketing, Public Policy, and Global Communications.
- Partner with functional leaders as a talent advisor to shape hiring plans and talent strategy based on business needs and market conditions.
- Proactively source and engage passive candidates through headhunting, networking, and non-traditional sourcing channels.
- Deliver a high-touch, “white-glove” candidate experience from first contact through close, regardless of outcome.
- Build diverse talent pipelines and apply inclusive hiring practices.
- Use recruiting data and market insights to report on hiring health, identify bottlenecks, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Compensation partners on offer negotiations and headcount planning.
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
Preferred:
- Experience hiring for Marketing, Creative, Public Policy, or Communications roles (ideally in a high-growth tech environment).
- Expert-level passive sourcing and niche talent engagement via networking and non-traditional channels.
- Strong storytelling and pitching skills to communicate Uber’s mission and role challenges to senior candidates.
- Stakeholder management experience partnering with Director+ level leaders in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent high-priority searches with high quality standards.
- Experience with iCIMS ATS or similar enterprise talent platforms.
Conditions
Compensation (annual ranges by location):
- Chicago: USD $87,500–$97,250 per year
- New York: USD $97,000–$108,000 per year
- San Francisco: USD $97,000–$108,000 per year
- Eligible for Uber’s bonus program and may be offered an equity award and other compensation.
- Full-time employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan.
