Senior Database Developer

ARRISE is a leading service delivery company in the iGaming industry, partnering with major brands like Pragmatic Play to deliver exceptional gaming experiences worldwide. We are seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, implement, and maintain sophisticated database solutions across our global operations.

• Design, code, and implement database solutions using modern SQL techniques and programming languages
• Provide high-level database development assistance for creating business-specific applications
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain database application systems across multiple RDBMS platforms
• Analyze and tune query performance on high-loaded OLTP systems and very large databases
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously as a senior development team member
• Conduct research and drive innovation throughout the software development process
• Mentor and coach junior software developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including managers, business analysts, and systems personnel
• Provide technical support for help desk calls and assist in resolving system issues

• 5+ years of PostgreSQL and PL/SQL development experience
• Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development experience (preferred)
• Query performance analysis and tuning expertise
• Experience with high-loaded OLTP systems and very large databases
• Design, development, and maintenance of reporting and data warehouse databases (preferred)
• Schema and data migration experience from Oracle to other RDBMS (preferred)
• Basic database administration experience
• Familiarity with database design, documentation, and coding standards
• Knowledge of programming languages and APIs
• Strong problem-solving skills and algorithmic thinking
• Amazon Redshift, RDS, Aurora experience (preferred)
• English language proficiency at minimum Intermediate level (reading, writing, speaking)
• Experience working with diverse teams
• Quick understanding and learning abilities
