Genius Mode AI is seeking a detail-oriented video editor to create high-impact content for Instagram Reels, YouTube, and short-form platforms. The role focuses on transforming raw footage into scroll-stopping, attention-grabbing content that drives engagement and maintains a clean, idea-driven aesthetic.

• Cut long-form videos into high-performing short clips for Reels, Shorts, and YouTube
• Edit content with strong hooks optimized for the first 12 seconds
• Add captions, emphasis words, pacing, and visual rhythm to support messaging
• Remove unnecessary content to ensure every second earns its place
• Edit appearance and background elements for visual consistency
• Create clean YouTube edits using jump cuts, light graphics, and subtle zooms
• Maintain consistent visual identity and style across all platforms
• Deliver content on deadline while bringing smart creative ideas

• Proven experience editing Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and YouTube videos
• Strong understanding of attention, pacing, and audience retention
• Ability to create viral-style hooks and compelling first impressions
• Proficiency in following direction while contributing original ideas
• Fast turnaround capability and deadline management
• Strong aesthetic taste and visual judgment
