Internship Program - Beverly Hills (Summer, 2026)
Summary
Gagosian, a leading global contemporary art gallery, is hiring Summer 2026 interns to support daily gallery operations and department projects. The role offers hands-on experience across gallery functions while contributing to exhibitions, events, and administrative support.
What you'll do
Contribute to meaningful projects and recurring tasks within a designated department.
Assist gallery staff with daily operations and support teams across sales, artist liaison, research, and events.
Support the Gallery Assistant team with visitor inquiries and administrative tasks, including mail distribution, publication and stock management, organizing shared spaces, maintaining inventory, preparing offices for client meetings, and expenses.
Participate in gallery openings and events, including additional hours as needed.
Support ad hoc projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate, recent graduate, or postgraduate student.
Degree focus in Art History or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in the art world.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multitask and prioritize effectively.
Flexibility, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Prior museum, auction house, or gallery experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs.
Conditions
Schedule: 10am to 6pm, Monday through Friday, with additional hours for openings and events.
Availability: at least three days per week and for the full duration of the program.
Program dates: June 3, 2026 to August 28, 2026.
Position type: full-time and part-time positions available.
Workplace: 100% in person.
Compensation: $18 per hour.
