Human Resources Coordinator
Summary
Olo is a SaaS restaurant technology company providing digital ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions. The Human Resources Coordinator supports HRIS & Operations while serving as the on-site point of contact for office management at Olo’s New York City headquarters. The role focuses on improving employee engagement, onboarding, and learning & development processes to strengthen the employee experience.
What you'll do
Manage the Learning & Development platform, support adding new trainings in Workday, track training compliance, and oversee the Learning & Development stipend program.
Revamp and deliver a welcoming new-hire orientation program, build first-day resources, coordinate business cards and swag, and act as a point of contact for new team members.
Create and roll out employee engagement initiatives that connect in-office and remote employees.
Identify and implement a new employee gifting and swag vendor; consolidate platforms and enable ongoing rewards and recognition.
Serve as the primary on-site contact for employees, vendors, and visitors; keep the office stocked with food, beverages, and meeting/event supplies.
Manage office administration including collecting and distributing mail and voicemails in a timely manner.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Human Resources, Psychology, Hospitality, or a related field.
At least 1 year of internship or work experience in an office environment.
Interest in People & Culture, employee experience, and learning more about HR.
Self-motivated with ability to collaborate with a distributed team in-person and virtually.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Ability to multitask, build processes, and take initiative.
Proficiency with Google Docs, email, video conferencing tools, and related technologies.
Conditions
On-site, non-exempt role at Olo’s headquarters in New York City; 5 days per week (Monday–Friday).
Remote-friendly company overall (majority of team remote), but this position is primarily on-site for office management.
Benefits include 20 days PTO, 10 sick days, 11 holidays plus year-end closure, health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, remote-office stipend, parental leave, volunteer time off, and gift matching.
Compensation range listed as $60,000–$75,000 annually (varies by experience and location).
