Summary

Create Wellness is building a category-defining wellness brand and is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to scale end-to-end supply chain operations. This individual contributor role on the Operations team reports to the Director of Supply Chain and focuses on ensuring reliable procurement, production coordination, and on-time shipment across channels.

What you'll do

  • Own day-to-day procurement execution across raw materials and finished goods.

  • Determine purchase order timing with the Inventory Planner, incorporating supplier lead times, MOQs, and production schedules.

  • Place, manage, and track purchase orders in the ERP, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.

  • Proactively communicate with vendors to ensure materials and products arrive in full, on time, and in good condition.

  • Maintain accurate ERP data (lead times, vendor data, order statuses) and resolve order-flow exceptions with internal teams.

  • Support stabilization and improvement of the recently integrated ERP environment.

  • Manage supplier and contract manufacturer relationships; conduct weekly production status and shipment readiness check-ins.

  • Track supplier KPIs (e.g., lead time adherence, purchase price variance) and build/maintain supplier scorecards.

  • Partner with Distribution & Logistics to ensure a smooth handoff through final shipment.

  • Maintain in-stock levels of critical DTC non-sellable materials (e.g., mailers, inserts, packaging components).

  • Balance weeks of cover, service levels, cost, and working capital through disciplined ordering.

  • Support cost optimization initiatives, including RFPs and vendor negotiations, and contribute to scalable procurement processes.

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or related roles (ideally CPG, wellness, food/beverage, or other physical product environments).

  • Hands-on experience managing purchase orders and supplier communications.

  • Strong ownership mindset with a bias for action and ability to improve processes proactively.

  • Excellent organization and attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities.

  • Strong analytical skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets; able to analyze data, spot trends, and make recommendations.

  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and external vendor networks.

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Conditions

  • Compensation: base salary range $135,000-$145,000 plus equity.

  • Benefits: fully paid health, dental, and vision insurance.

  • Location/work setup: Downtown Manhattan office; 4 days in office with flexible work setup.

  • Time off: 15 days of PTO.
