Summary
Moses/Weitzman Health System is a healthcare organization and education leader focused on improving care for underserved and diverse populations. The Education Specialist supports the Weitzman Institute Education core by managing and helping design, implement, and evaluate education interventions across health professions, continuing education, and system transformation. The role ensures educational programs run smoothly, participants and faculty are supported, and program data is tracked for continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Manage and coordinate multiple education interventions (e.g., Weitzman ECHO, webinars, learning collaboratives, technical assistance, consultations) from planning through implementation and evaluation.
- Arrange and maintain sessions; provide clerical, organizational, and technical support to participants and faculty.
- Support recruitment and enrollment of learners and organizations; track admissions, participation, and graduation.
- Record and maintain operational program data including attendance, schedules, didactics, case presentations, recordings, and evaluation surveys.
- Administer surveys and assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting for program quality improvement and external stakeholders/funders.
- Onboard new learners, conduct technology tests, and provide troubleshooting/technical support as needed.
- Develop and enhance educational materials and didactics with faculty; create engaging presentations for conferences and other venues.
- Organize and communicate with faculty regarding curriculum planning, case review, meetings, content development, participant demographics, and improvement activities; facilitate regular faculty meetings.
- Use software/tools to track learners, organizations, faculty, and education materials (e.g., case forms, video recordings).
- Support proposal development, grant writing and reporting, deliverable timelines, posters, and publications.
- Assist with marketing-related content (eBlasts, newsletters, collateral) and maintain/update assigned webpages in collaboration with Communications.
- Support accreditation efforts and may attend conferences to exhibit, present, and/or teach about programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned and maintain confidentiality per organizational policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in a health-related field).
- 1–3 years of work experience (preferred in a health-related field and/or project support).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet-related applications, survey software, and database software.
- Ability to support detailed project plans and coordinate communication among contributors and stakeholders while delivering within time, budget, and objectives.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management, prioritization, and multitasking ability.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively with team members, providers, agencies, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and recommend actions to improve program success.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; demonstrated problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience leveraging technology and business partners to deliver content.
- Current driver’s license and ability to travel in and out of state.
