Senior Product Engineer (AI product)

Inception-1 is a product company creating AI-driven B2C products designed to help people feel more connected and less alone. We are seeking a Senior Product Engineer who combines strong engineering skills with product thinking for a highly business-oriented role at the intersection of revenue-generating engineering, AI, and user experience.

• Ship 15-20 meaningful product experiments within the first 6 months
• Design and implement AI-driven user flows including journaling, reflection, and emotional interventions
• Design and maintain an experimentation framework for A/B testing and rapid iteration
• Collaborate with product, design, and research teams to turn insights into shipped features
• Improve retention and activation metrics
• Participate in user interviews and discovery sessions

Must-have:

• Strong full-stack engineering background (Python, Node.js, React, JavaScript)
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI APIs
• Hands-on experience with agentic engineering, including practical use of AI agents, autonomous workflows, and coding agents in day-to-day development
• Experience with product analytics and A/B testing
• Solid system design fundamentals
• Proven ability to ship user-facing features end-to-end

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in mental health, wellbeing, or health-tech
