Frontend Tech Lead (React)

Ideals is a global B2B SaaS product company in the secure business collaboration market, trusted by over 2,000,000 users. As a Frontend Tech Lead (React), you will be a hands-on technical leader building the Ideals Board platform, owning frontend architecture decisions and raising delivery quality.

• Own frontend technical direction for key areas of Ideals Board: architecture, patterns, and long-term maintainability
• Make the design system work properly in real product development: ensure consistency, improve developer experience, and close gaps between design and implementation
• Lead redesigns of key product parts end-to-end (technical + UX) and shape solutions with Product Design and Backend teams
• Raise quality ownership across the team: testing strategy, code review culture, definition of done, and proactive refactoring
• Drive technical design: write and review technical solutions, identify risks early, and align the team on implementation approaches
• Be a strong hands-on contributor: deliver features, tackle complex tasks, debug production issues, and improve performance and reliability
• Mentor and multiply: coach frontend engineers, share best practices, and grow overall team expertise
• Collaborate closely with Product managers, Designers, Backend, QA, and DevOps Engineers

• 6+ years of strong hands-on experience building production web applications with React + TypeScript
• Proven ability to lead technical design: decomposition, trade-offs, and aligning stakeholders
• Experience building or scaling design systems/component libraries and enforcing consistency
• Strong engineering fundamentals: maintainability, performance, accessibility, security-minded UI development, and pragmatic quality practices
• Confidence with modern frontend tooling and delivery: testing (unit/integration/e2e), CI/CD, observability, and effective debugging
• Leadership through influence: mentoring, constructive feedback, driving alignment, and creating clarity
• A quality mindset focused on outcomes, user impact, and leaving systems better than found
• English at the B2 level
• Nice to have: Experience with B2B SaaS products, high-trust environments, familiarity with broader stack (AWS/Kubernetes, backend integration), and running frontend initiatives across multiple teams
