Google Ads / Feed Strategist (Ecomm/DTC Pharma/Restricted) Contract

GrowthTide is seeking a Google Ads/Feed Strategist to manage growth for a DTC healthcare brand operating in Google's restricted categories. This contract role focuses on navigating policy constraints while maximizing ROAS through strategic feed architecture and campaign optimization.

• Manage daily and weekly battles with manual reviews and Google's automated systems for restricted product categories
• Sanitize and manipulate feed data using Supplemental Feeds, Feed Rules, and Regex to satisfy compliance requirements without compromising click-through rates
• Architect optimal campaign structures balancing Performance Max, Standard Shopping, and audience signals within policy restrictions
• Diagnose performance issues beyond surface metrics—identifying root causes like status changes impacting retargeting eligibility
• Build operational systems to prevent valid products from remaining disapproved and establish kill criteria for overly risky products
• Make strategic decisions on when to fight for audience signals versus abandoning them to bypass policy blocks
• Provide strategic communication connecting complex policy nuances directly to revenue impact

• Deep experience in restricted verticals: Pharma, Telehealth, CBD, or Fintech
• Technical mastery of Supplemental Feeds, Feed Rules, and Regex
• Ability to manipulate data without changing website hard code
• Strategic thinking beyond standard e-commerce best practices
• Understanding of 'Silent Killers'—policy flags that reduce audience signal availability
• Ownership mentality focused on outcomes rather than task completion
• Strong ability to explain complex policy nuances in business terms

Type: Part-Time / Contract

Location: Remote

Autonomy: High - no micromanagement. Ownership of strategy and results expected.
